Responsibilities include installing ESXI on physical servers and managing and monitoring the virtual environment using vCenter Server. You will be involved in creating and deploying VMs through Clone and template as per client requests via the Service Request management process. Monitoring the vSphere environment through vROPS and generating reports are essential tasks. Installing vulnerability patches on ESXi hosts and vCenter servers, coordinating with OEM VMware and Cisco for case log issues, and monitoring Cisco Hardware C240 M5 are part of the role. Additionally, you will monitor vSphere Replication through VMware Site Recovery Manager (SRM), perform Disaster Recovery as per schedule, and conduct SRM tests on a monthly basis. Taking server backups (Snapshot and Clone) before activities, performing patching activities monthly, installing VMware Tools on Linux and Windows servers, and monitoring CPU, Memory, and Storage alerts of Virtual Machines are crucial responsibilities. Daily server health check-ups for Virtual and Physical servers are required, along with the upgrade of vCenter 6.7 and ESXi 6.7 to vCenter 7.0 & ESXi 7.0.
