VMware HCX and NSX Engineer

As a VMware HCX and NSX Engineer, your role will involve: - Performing P2V/V2V migrations on the VMware platform and effectively managing the migration process. - Demonstrating hands-on knowledge of Migration Tools such as VMware HCX, Plate spin, Doubletake, Carbonite, etc. - Installing, configuring, and operating VMware vSphere along with its dependent components. - Planning and executing physical-to-virtual (P2V) migrations and VMware to Hyper-V migrations. - Planning and executing workload migrations efficiently. - Conducting application and infrastructure dependency mapping. - Troubleshooting performance and other infrastructure issues effectively. - Generating technical documentation related to design, architecture, operation, etc. Qualifications required for this role: - Experience in P2V/V2V migrations on the VMware platform. - Proficiency in migration tools like VMware HCX, Plate spin, Doubletake, Carbonite, etc. - Hands-on experience in installing, configuring, and operating VMware vSphere and its dependent components. - Ability to plan and execute physical-to-virtual (P2V) migrations and VMware to Hyper-V migrations. - Experience in workload migrations. - Knowledge of application and infrastructure dependency mapping. - Strong troubleshooting skills for performance and infrastructure issues. - Capable of creating technical documentation regarding design, architecture, operation, etc.,
