Job Description

Profile- VMWare admin

Exp- 4-5 years

Location- Navi mumbai

Key Responsibilities:

Install, configure, and manage VMware vSphere environments (ESXi, vCenter).
Perform regular monitoring, maintenance, and upgrades of virtual environments.
Handle VM provisioning, cloning, snapshots, storage, and resource allocation.
Troubleshoot virtualization-related issues and perform root cause analysis.
Monitor performance metrics and implement tuning recommendations.
Ensure high availability and business continuity using VMware HA, DRS, and vMotion.
Manage and optimize storage (SAN/NAS) connected to the VMware infrastructure.
Maintain documentation for configuration, changes, and procedures.
Collaborate with other IT teams (network, security, Windows/Linux) as needed.

Required Skills:

Strong hands-on experience with VMware vSphere, ESXi 6.x/7.x, and vCenter.
Good knowledge of storage and networking in virtual environments.
Experience in managing backup solutions for virtual machines (e.g., Veeam, Commvault).
Familiarity with PowerCLI/PowerShell for automation.
Understanding of patching, capacity planning, and disaster recovery in virtual environments.
