Job Description

As a VMC setter cum operator, your role involves interpreting engineering drawings to determine machining operations and specifications. You will need to select and set up cutting tools, fixtures, and equipment for specific jobs while mounting them on the machine. It is essential to set up machine parameters like speeds, feeds, and offsets for accurate and efficient machining. Additionally, you may have to edit program the machine using G-code or M-code for controlling cutting paths and other functions. Monitoring the machining process, making necessary adjustments, and conducting quality checks on finished parts are also part of your responsibilities to ensure they meet dimensional tolerances and specifications. Qualifications Required: - Proficiency in interpreting engineering drawings - Experience in tooling selection and setup - Knowledge of machine setup and calibration - Familiarity with editing programming using G-code/M-code - Ability to monitor machining processes and conduct quality control checks In this role, you will be entitled to benefits such as health insurance and provident fund.
