VMC Programmer Preferred candidate should have 5+ experience in very strong knowledge in 3D CNC programming in Mastercam/Powermill for precision components manufacturing for Aerospace, Medical Industry. Responsibilities for CNC Programmer Technical Roles Read technical drawings and set up the machines in accordance with the drawings. Use computer software Mastercam/Power mill to model cutting paths and program for 3-Axis and 4-Axis machines. Load 4 machines with programs for 24 hours running. Perform inline quality assurance tests to ensure products meet design specifications. Adjust machine cutting paths or settings to optimize production while maintaining quality. Consider tools required to cut particular materials and program machines accordingly. Troubleshoot and resolve problems with machines as they arise. Must have strong attention to detail. Work independently and closely follow directions is essential. Should be positive at work and professional attitude is expected. Should be available to work weekends and overtime as and when required. Supervisory Responsibility --Supervise the operators and guide them with optimum machine setting and operations. --Train new employees on VMC machine operations and programs. Growth opportunities --Involve and implement continuous improvements in quality and productivity. --Develop a assistant programmer for you to take next level responsibilities.
