Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled VMC Operator to operate and maintain Vertical Machining Center machines in our Ambad MIDC facility. The candidate will be responsible for machine setup, operation, tool handling, and ensuring components meet required quality standards.

Key ResponsibilitiesMachine Operation & Setup

• Set up and operate VMC machines according to production requirements.
• Load raw materials, tools, and fixtures.
• Adjust tool offsets and machine parameters as needed.

Programming & Tooling

• Understand and interpret CNC programs (Fanuc / Siemens / Haas or relevant controls).
• Make minor edits in programs when necessary.
• Ensure correct tools are selected and installed.

Quality Control

• Read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Inspect components using vernier calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and other instruments.
• Maintain dimensional accuracy and surface finish as per specifications.

Maintenance

• Perform routine cleaning and basic preventive maintenance.
• Report any machine issues to the supervisor or maintenance team immediately.

Documentation

• Maintain production and inspection records.
• Follow all internal quality and safety guidelines.

Safety & Compliance

• Use appropriate PPE and follow all safety rules.
• Keep the work area clean and organized.

Skills & QualificationsRequired:

• ITI / Diploma in Mechanical, Fitter, Turner, Machinist, or related field.
• 1–3 years of VMC operating experience (freshers with training may be considered).
• Good knowledge of machining, tooling, and measurement instruments.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.

Preferred:

• Experience with precision components.
• Basic CNC programming knowledge.

Salary

• Based on experience and industry standards.

Pay: ₹9,686.24 - ₹18,000.00 per month
