Your responsibilities will include: - Defining, designing, and implementing a creative visual merchandising strategy. - Creating appealing and eye-catching visual displays to guide customers throughout the store. - Developing window displays, signs, interior displays, floor plans, and special promotions displays. - Identifying key messages and ensuring a clear brand image. - Collaborating with assistant merchandisers to brainstorm, refine, and present design ideas. - Aligning actions with the organization's culture, products, image, and target market. - Supervising production and briefing staff on display arrangements. - Updating displays to showcase new product launches and reflect seasonal or festive themes. - Researching lifestyle, demographics, and design trends to stay current and engaging. To excel in this role, you should have: - Proven work experience as a Visual Merchandiser or Visual Manager. - Demonstrable visual design skills with a strong retail merchandising portfolio. - Solid experience in field visual merchandising, including various display types. - Proficiency in visual design tools like Photoshop, Illustrator, or similar software. - Knowledge of current visual merchandising trends and best practices. - Proficiency in MS Office for documentation and communication. - A creative and innovative mindset. - A degree in visual merchandising, fashion merchandising, exhibition design, visual communications, or a related field.
