Visa Counsellor

Key Responsibilities:

• Client Consultation: Provide detailed information to clients regarding visa options (study, visitor, etc.) based on eligibility and immigration laws.
• Profile Assessment: Analyze client profiles to determine suitable visa categories and recommend appropriate immigration pathways.
• Documentation Support: Assist clients in the preparation and organization of required documentation for visa applications.
• Application Processing: Handle end-to-end visa filing procedures, including online and offline submissions, follow-ups, and embassy interactions.
• Up-to-Date Knowledge: Stay informed about changes in immigration laws, policies, and procedures for different countries.
• CRM/Data Management: Maintain accurate records of client interactions, case updates, and application status using internal systems.
• Follow-ups & Communication: Regularly update clients on their application progress and respond promptly to queries via email, phone, or in-person.
• Sales Support (if applicable): Support the counseling and conversion process from inquiry to enrollment in immigration-related services.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with case managers, documentation teams, and other counselors to ensure smooth client experience.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a visa or immigration counselor (minimum 1–2 years preferred)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
• Ability to handle multiple cases and meet deadlines
• Familiarity with immigration rules of major countries
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in any discipline
• Knowledge of CRM or immigration software is a plus
