Virtualization Engineer

In this role at RadScribe Inc, you will join a dynamic IT team as a Virtualization Engineer. Your primary responsibility will be designing, implementing, and managing virtual infrastructure. Your key responsibilities will include: - Demonstrating, designing, implementing, and managing virtual environments using Softdrive, VMware, Hyper-V, KVM, or other virtualization technologies. - Performing regular system maintenance such as updates, patches, and troubleshooting for high availability and performance. - Optimizing virtual machines and infrastructure performance to align with client requirements. - Implementing and managing disaster recovery and business continuity plans for virtualized environments. - Ensuring virtual infrastructure security through firewall integration, antivirus software management, and other security measures. - Collaborating with the board of directors on infrastructure projects and providing expertise in virtualization technologies. - Documenting and demonstrating virtualization processes and configurations to clients for a clear understanding of the environment. Qualifications required for this role: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent experience. - Proven experience as a Virtualization Engineer or in a similar role. - Strong knowledge of virtualization technologies such as Softdrive, VMware, Hyper-V, KVM, Xen, and experience in managing virtual environments. - Familiarity with storage solutions, networking, and computer hardware. - Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently. - Relevant certifications like VMware Certified Professional. - Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.,
