Video Editor/Videographer

As a talented and creative Video Editor, you are passionate about storytelling through video and possess a strong eye for detail. Your role will involve editing raw footage into polished, high-quality video content for digital platforms like YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, and websites. You will collaborate with the marketing/content team to understand project goals and deliver compelling visual content by adding music, dialogues, graphics, and effects to enhance storytelling. It is crucial to ensure all edits align with brand identity and meet technical requirements. Additionally, you will organize and manage media assets, stay updated with industry trends, tools, and best practices, and work on various video formats such as reels, shorts, promotional videos, training videos, and interviews. Optimizing videos for engagement and performance on social media platforms will also be a part of your responsibilities. Key Responsibilities: - Editing raw footage into polished, high-quality video content for digital platforms - Collaborating with the marketing/content team to understand project goals and deliver compelling visual content - Adding music, dialogues, graphics, and effects to enhance storytelling - Ensuring all edits align with brand identity and meet technical requirements - Organizing and managing media assets and project files - Staying updated with industry trends, tools, and best practices - Working on different video formats like reels, shorts, promotional videos, training videos, and interviews - Optimizing videos for engagement and performance on social media platforms Qualifications Required: - Proven experience as a Video Editor with a strong portfolio - Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, After Effects, etc. - Knowledge of motion graphics and color grading (preferred) - Understanding of social media video formats and audience behavior - Ability to work under tight deadlines and handle multiple projects - Strong sense of timing, visual awareness, and narrative skills - Creativity and attention to detail The compensation for this full-time, permanent position will be based on experience and skillset.
