As a Video Editor/Creator with over 2 years of experience, you will play a crucial role in producing high-quality product demo videos, converting blog content into compelling visual explainers, and developing clear video material for technical and marketing purposes. Your main responsibilities will include editing and producing product demo videos to highlight features, benefits, and real-world usage. Additionally, you will be transforming blog articles into engaging video explainers using animations, text overlays, or voiceovers. Collaboration with product, marketing, and design teams to conceptualize and storyboard videos will be a key part of your role. You will also be responsible for adding animations, captions, screen recordings, motion graphics, transitions, and sound effects to enhance the video content as necessary. Ensuring brand consistency and messaging across all video material will be a priority, as well as keeping updated on editing trends and tools to bring fresh creativity to each project. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in video editing, and a portfolio showcasing their work will be required. Proficiency in tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, or similar software is essential. Experience with screen recording and editing product walkthroughs or tutorials is also necessary. A strong understanding of pacing, transitions, storytelling, and visual hierarchy is crucial for this role, along with familiarity with third-party libraries and APIs. The ability to simplify technical concepts for a general audience and collaborate effectively with tech teams is a must. A bonus would be a basic understanding of SaaS, IT products, or AI-based platforms. Preferred skills for this position include experience with animation tools like Lottie, Canva, or Motion Graphics software. The ability to source and edit voiceovers, as well as familiarity with tools like Loom, OBS, or Camtasia for screen recording, would also be advantageous.,
