Video Editor Wedding Films

As a Video Editor at Ivory Films, your role is to craft emotionally resonant wedding films, cinematic trailers, and creative social media reels that reflect Ivory Films" signature storytelling style. You will be responsible for editing long-format wedding films within 10 days of handoff, creating engaging reels for Instagram and short-form platforms, and delivering cinematic trailers/teasers within 7 days per project. Your work should incorporate music, dialogue, and story beats to achieve 85%+ client/QC approval. Collaboration with freelancers, cinematographers, and project leads is essential, as well as maintaining proper file naming, version control, and backups. Effective communication on progress, blockers, and feedback is key to success in this role. Your editing craft should showcase emotional storytelling in both long and short formats, with a keen attention to detail in seamless cuts, transitions, and audio design. As a team player, you should be open to feedback and cross-functional collaboration. Being time-disciplined is crucial as you will be required to meet multiple deadlines consistently. The ability to work calmly under tight timelines and pressure is also important for this role.
