To support our mission, we are looking for a creative and technically skilled Video Editor to join our growing content team.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a talented Video Editor who can turn raw educational footage into polished, engaging, and high-impact video content. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a strong sense of narrative and pacing, and the ability to work collaboratively with our academic and marketing teams. You will be responsible for editing a wide range of content, from in-depth lecture series to short, catchy promotional videos for social media.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assemble and edit raw footage of lectures, tutorials, and promotional shoots into finished videos ready for publishing.
• Incorporate motion graphics, text overlays, animations, and other visual elements to enhance learning and engagement.
• Create compelling short-form video content (Reels, Shorts) for our social media channels (Instagram, YouTube, etc.).
• Manage and organize video files, projects, and related assets in a structured manner.
• Ensure all video content aligns with Prepscale's brand guidelines, tone, and quality standards.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts, instructors, and the marketing team to understand project requirements and deliver on creative briefs.
• Perform color correction, sound mixing, and audio enhancement to ensure high production value.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest video editing techniques, software, and social media trends to keep our content fresh and relevant.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Proven work experience as a Video Editor with a strong portfolio or showreel demonstrating your skills. (Applications without a portfolio will not be considered).
• Proficiency in video editing software, particularly Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Audition).
• Solid experience with motion graphics and visual effects.
• A strong understanding of pacing, composition, color grading, and audio mixing.
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working in the EdTech or online education industry.
• Familiarity with creating content for various social media platforms and understanding their specific requirements.
• Basic knowledge of camera operation, lighting, and sound recording principles.
• Experience with graphic design tools like Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
