Video Editor

Key Responsibilities

• Edit raw video footage into clean, engaging, learner-friendly content.
• Create motion graphics, basic animations, intros/outros, lower-thirds, and transitions.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts and content creators to understand training goals and ensure accurate representation.
• Enhance audio quality, add voiceovers, subtitles, background music, and sound effects as required.
• Maintain consistency in visual style, pacing, and branding across all training assets.
• Optimize videos for multiple platforms (LMS, YouTube, webinars, social media, etc.).
• Manage video file organization, backups, and media asset libraries.
• Work within defined production timelines while maintaining attention to detail.
• Stay updated with industry trends, editing tools, and visual storytelling techniques.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 4–6 years of hands-on video editing experience, preferably in EdTech, e-learning, training, or media production.
• Advanced proficiency in video editing tools such as

  Adobe Premiere Pro

  DaVinci Resolve

  , etc.
• Good working knowledge of

  Adobe After Effects

  ,

  Photoshop

  ,

  Illustrator

  , or similar tools for motion graphics and design.
• Strong understanding of visual storytelling, pacing, color correction, and audio design.
• Ability to translate complex technical concepts into easy-to-understand visual content.
• Experience working with green screens, screen recordings, animations, and instructional videos.
• Strong sense of aesthetics, composition, and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in editing long-form training content, tutorials, or course modules.
• Understanding of LMS formats, SCORM compliance basics, or digital learning platforms.
• Knowledge of YouTube content formatting and social media video optimization.
