Role Overview:

highly efficient, trend-aware Video Editor

Key Responsibilities

• Edit and assemble

  short-form and long-form vertical videos

  from raw footage to final output including

  Reels, Shorts, Ads, and YouTube vertical content

  .
• Apply strong

  pacing, jump cuts, color correction, and text overlays

  to enhance storytelling.
• Create impactful

  hooks and high-retention edits

  within the first 35 seconds.
• Integrate

  sound effects, music syncing, basic VFX

  , and motion graphics as needed.
• Collaborate with designers and creative strategists to maintain brand consistency.
• Organize raw footage, manage project timelines, and deliver edits within tight schedules.
• Stay updated on

  social media trends, editing styles, reels formats

  , and viral content techniques.

Required Skills & Background

• 13 years

  of professional experience in video editing.
• Strong command of

  Adobe Premiere Pro

  (or Final Cut Pro).
• Basic working experience in

  Adobe After Effects

  for simple motion graphics.
• Portfolio/reel demonstrating expertise in

  short-form content

  and strong sense of pacing.
• Knowledge of

  color grading, audio adjustments

  , and visual storytelling.
• Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
• Creative thinker with sharp attention to detail and trend awareness.

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong skills in

  Video Production and Video Editing

• Experience in

  Video Color Grading

• Ability to create

  Motion Graphics

  and work with general graphic elements
• Proficiency in industry tools such as

  Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Final Cut Pro
