Job Overview:

We're on the lookout for a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor to join our in-house team. If you love telling stories through visuals, have a strong grip on editing for Instagram and Facebook, and enjoy working with raw footage to craft engaging, emotion-led content, this might be for you.

You’ll be working closely with the content and creative teams to bring ideas to life across product showcases, lookbook edits, behind-the-scenes videos, and more.

Key Responsibilities:

• Edit raw footage into engaging short-form videos tailored for Instagram and Facebook
• Work on a mix of content: product showcase videos, lookbook reels, BTS content, event coverage
• Take ownership from first cut to final output, including sound, transitions, and timing
• Collaborate with team members to understand briefs and bring them to life
• Use storytelling techniques that align with music, rhythm, and emotions
• Ensure all content aligns with Rangaai’s brand style and tone
• Keep up with trends in short-form content, reels, and editing styles

What We’re Looking For:

• 1–2 years of professional experience in video editing ( preferably in a content-driven or brand-focused setting)
• Strong proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro; working knowledge of After Effects and Photoshop is an added advantage
• Experience editing for social media platforms, particularly Instagram Reels, Facebook Stories, and other vertical video formats
• Solid understanding of visual storytelling, pacing, and rhythm in short-form content
• Ability to manage your files, timelines, and edits in a clean, organised way
• Comfortable working independently and collaborating with cross-functional teams when needed
• A keen eye for design, on-screen text, and typography that enhances viewer engagement
• Proficiency in selecting and syncing audio/music to elevate content quality

Preferred Skills (Good to Have):

• Basic knowledge of graphic design for creating thumbnails, animated titles, or simple overlays
• Familiarity with current social media content trends and an eagerness to apply new styles and formats
• Comfort with audio selection and syncing to elevate storytelling

(Note: While this role doesn’t focus on YouTube long-form, flexibility is welcome)
