Key Responsibilities:

Video Editing & Post-Production

• Edit raw footage into cohesive, engaging, and story-driven video content.
• Trim and sequence clips, ensuring a smooth narrative flow.
• Add

  music, dialogues, motion graphics, sound effects, and visual elements

  to enrich content.
• Perform

  color grading and sound design

  for a cinematic finish.

Collaboration & Creative Development

• Work closely with directors, producers, and creative teams to bring concepts to life.
• Collaborate with graphic designers and animators to integrate VFX, compositing, and 3D elements.
• Contribute fresh creative ideas and editing styles to enhance storytelling.
  

Project Management

• Organize, catalog, and manage media assets efficiently.
• Ensure timely delivery of projects, balancing quality with deadlines.
• Maintain structured workflows, version control, and backups.
  

Quality Control

• Review and refine edits to ensure accuracy and visual excellence.
• Ensure deliverables meet broadcast, web, and platform-specific standards.
• Continuously test and improve editing techniques for better audience engagement.
  

AI Tools & Innovation

• Use

  AI-powered tools

  (e.g., Runway, FireCut, Descript, Pika, Sora, Topaz, or similar) to:
• Automate routine tasks like captions, rough cuts, and background removal.
• Experiment with AI for

  motion graphics, visual effects, video upscaling, and sound enhancement

  .
• Explore creative applications of

  Generative AI

  to push visual storytelling.
• Stay updated with emerging

  AI + video technology trends

  and suggest ways to integrate them into workflows.

Qualifications:

Education:

• Bachelors degree in Film Production, Media Studies, Communications, or related field (preferred, not mandatory).
  

Experience:

• Proven work experience as a Video Editor with a strong showreel/portfolio.
• Proficiency with editing tools such as

  Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro

  , etc.
• Hands-on experience with

  AI-based editing tools

  is a strong plus.

Skills:

• Strong understanding of

  video production and post-production processes

  .
• Creative storytelling ability with a sharp eye for detail.
• Excellent sense of pacing, rhythm, and visual composition.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
