Video Editor

*Please note: The position needs to be filled urgently hence, we are looking for candidates who can join immediately.

Responsibilities

• Work with the content creation team and oversee various shoots for clients.
• Collaborate with the account management team to ensure consistency of designs across various media outlets.
• Create compelling designs for digital media platforms.
• Edit raw footage into polished video content for various platforms (YouTube, social media, websites, etc.).
• Collaborate with the creative team to understand project scope and objectives.
• Incorporate graphics, titles, transitions, and effects to enhance the video.
• Ensure the final product aligns with brand guidelines and project goals.
• Maintain and organise project files, ensuring all assets are properly archived.
• Stay updated with the latest video editing techniques, tools, and trends
• Creating short videos, and GIFs for social media.
• Work with copywriters and the creative team to produce the final design.
• Conceptualizing visuals based on requirements and client briefs.
• Capable of ingesting oral/written guidelines and conveying them visually through graphics
• Mend final designs to client's comments and gain full approval

Requirements:

1. Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Adobe illustrator or similar.

2. Strong understanding of video formats, codecs, bitrate, ratio and best practices for various digital platforms.

3. Excellent sense of timing, pacing, and storytelling to create engaging content.

4. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.

5. Knowledge of Editing cuts, Transitions, Animation, colour correction, audio editing, and sound design.

6. Ability to handle constructive feedback and adapt to changing project requirements.

8. Experience in creating content for different industries (e.g., marketing, education, entertainment).

Qualifications

• Upto 3 years minimum work experience as a motion graphics designer or video editor
• Capable of working on multiple projects in a day
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite
• Strong communication, conceptual thinking, typography skills, and design skills
