Video Editor in Gurgaon (Hybrid)

Key Responsibilities

• Edit and shoot short-form content (primarily for Instagram reels, YouTube shorts, and LinkedIn) in alignment with brand voice and tone
• Should be comfortable using Adobe Premiere Pro and CapCut if needed, would be needed to add b-roll shots into the videos, find b rolls, think of what edit makes sense and be creative in thinking about the final video edit
• Add transitions, effects, captions, music, and overlays to make videos engaging and high-retention
• Work closely with the founder and marketing team to execute scripts and bring creative ideas to life
• Repurpose long-form footage into multiple short-form content pieces for distribution across platforms
• Organize and manage video assets, including footage, sound, graphics, and project files
• Incorporate feedback quickly and iterate versions based on performance insights and direction
• Stay updated on video trends, meme culture, and editing styles that are performing well on social media
• Maintain consistency in style, color grading, and branding across all videos
• Handle basic motion graphics, animations, or use templates for intros/outros when required
• Collaborate on shoot planning and content storyboarding
