Key Responsibilities

The Video Editor cum Animator will be primarily responsible for the technical and creative execution of visual content, ensuring high quality and alignment with brand goals.

1. Video Editing & Post-Production:

• Assemble, cut, and edit raw footage into polished, compelling final videos for various platforms (social media, corporate, documentary, training, etc.).
• Manage all post-production tasks, including color correction, audio mixing, sound design, and final rendering.
• Ensure all content meets technical specifications for distribution channels (web, social, mobile).

2. Motion Graphics & Animation:

• Design, create, and integrate 2D and 3D motion graphics, kinetic typography, and visual effects into video projects.
• Develop engaging animated explainers, title sequences, and graphic overlays that enhance storytelling.

3. Content Collaboration & Creativity:

• Collaborate closely with the content, marketing, and design teams to conceptualize and script engaging visual narratives.
• Maintain and enhance the company's visual style and brand consistency across all video and animated assets.
• Stay current with emerging editing and animation trends, software, and tools to bring innovative ideas to projects.

4. Asset Management:

Organize and maintain the company's media library, project files, and backup systems efficiently.

Education/Skill Requirements

• Full-time Degree/Diploma in relevant field (Video Editing, Animation, or Mass Comm.) from a recognized institution.
• Mandatory advanced proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
• Strong understanding of film editing/animation principles, composition, and visual output translation.
• Excellent communication, effective teamwork, and essential knowledge of video codecs/formats.
