Video Editor & Cinematographer

Role Overview:

We are looking for a creative and skilled Video Editor cum Cinematographer who can conceptualize, shoot, and edit high-quality video content for digital platforms. The ideal candidate should be passionate about storytelling, have an eye for detail, and be proficient with professional cameras and editing software.

Key Responsibilities:

Cinematography & Production

• Plan and execute video shoots (indoor/outdoor) based on project requirements.
• Operate DSLR/Mirrorless cameras, gimbals, lighting, and audio equipment.
• Capture interviews, corporate videos, product videos, events, and promotional content.
• Set up lighting, background, and framing to ensure high-quality visuals.
• Work closely with the creative/marketing team to understand the shoot requirements.

Video Editing

• Edit raw footage into polished, compelling videos for social media, ads, reels, YouTube, and other platforms.
• Add effects, transitions, color correction, sound design, subtitles, and animations when required.
• Maintain brand consistency and deliver quality videos within deadlines.
• Manage and organize video assets for easy access.

Creative & Strategy

• Contribute ideas for video concepts, storyboarding, and shot planning.
• Stay updated with the latest trends in video production, editing styles, and social media formats.
• Work collaboratively with designers, content creators, and marketing teams.

Skills & Qualifications

• Proven experience as a videographer/cinematographer and video editor.
• Proficiency in editing software: Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, After Effects (added advantage).
• Strong understanding of camera operations, lighting techniques, and audio recording.
• Knowledge of color grading and motion graphics is a plus.
• Creative mindset with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Portfolio of previous work is mandatory.
