Position Overview:

At Social Santa, we are seeking a creative and skilled CINEMATOGRAPHER / + Video Editor – who is well versed in videography and Video Editing , We are seeking a highly skilled Cinematographer with strong experience in shooting and editing high-quality video content, particularly for digital and social media platforms (Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, brand videos, etc.). The ideal candidate will have an eye for detail, strong creative direction, and the ability to translate marketing ideas into visually compelling stories.

Key Roles Responsibilities:

• 1. Plan, shoot, and edit high-quality video content including brand films, reels, ads, interviews, and behind-the-scenes clips.
• 2. Conceptualize and brainstorm ideas for video shoots in collaboration with the creative and marketing teams.
• 3. Operate professional camera, lighting, and audio equipment to ensure top production quality.
• 4. Oversee the entire video production process – from pre-production planning and storyboarding to post-production editing.
• 5. Direct shoots with clients, models, and internal teams to ensure creative vision is achieved.
• 6. Edit videos using tools like Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve; ensure proper color grading, sound design, and transitions.
• 7. Stay updated on social media trends (especially Instagram Reels and YouTube content formats) to create engaging, trendy visuals.
• 8. Manage and organize raw footage, backups, and final deliverables efficiently.
• 9. Collaborate with the graphic design and digital marketing teams to ensure consistency in visual branding.
• 10. Suggest innovative ideas to improve storytelling, visual aesthetics, and brand presentation.

• Requirements
• 1. Bachelor’s degree in Film, Media, Communications, or related field (preferred).
• 2. Minimum 5 years of experience as a cinematographer, videographer, or filmmaker.
• 3. Proficiency in professional cameras (DSLR/Mirrorless/Cinema) and lighting setups.
• 4. Advanced skills in video editing software (Premiere Pro, Final Cut, After Effects, or DaVinci Resolve).
• 5. Strong understanding of composition, lighting, and color grading.
• 6. Creative mindset with attention to detail and storytelling ability.
• 7. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• 8. A strong portfolio showcasing cinematic work and social media video content.

Work Location & Schedule

• · Location: Tilakwadi, Belgaum (On-site work only)
• · Timings: Full-time, Monday to Saturday
