Video Editor & Cinematographer

As a Cinematographer and Video Editor, you will be responsible for capturing visually stunning footage and transforming raw footage into polished and engaging video content. Working closely with the Creative Director and the creative team, you will play a pivotal role in bringing creative concepts to life through cinematography and editing.

II. Responsibilities:

• Film Production:
• Plan, execute, and oversee all aspects of film production, including shot composition, lighting, and camera operation.
• Collaborate with the creative team to understand project requirements and translate concepts into compelling visuals.
• Conduct location scouting and coordinate logistics for shoots.
• Ensure the highest standards of technical quality and artistic integrity in all aspects of cinematography.
• Video Editing:
• Edit raw footage into polished video content, adhering to project timelines and specifications.
• Apply color correction, audio mixing, and visual effects to enhance the overall quality of the video.
• Work closely with the Creative Director and other team members to incorporate feedback and revisions into the final product.
• Maintain organized file management and adhere to established naming conventions for efficient workflow.
• Technical Proficiency:
• Stay updated on the latest trends, techniques, and technologies in cinematography and video editing.
• Demonstrate proficiency in using industry-standard editing software and equipment.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and proactively seek solutions to optimize workflow efficiency.
• Continuously improve skills through self-directed learning and professional development opportunities.
• Collaboration and Communication:
• Collaborate effectively with the creative team to ensure alignment with project objectives and vision.
• Communicate openly and proactively with team members to address any challenges or concerns that may arise during production and post-production.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative ideas to enhance project outcomes.
• Maintain a positive and collaborative working environment conducive to creativity and innovation.
• Quality Assurance:
• Conduct thorough reviews of edited content to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to brand guidelines.
• Address any technical or creative issues identified during the review process in a timely manner.
• Work closely with the Quality Assurance team to implement best practices and quality standards throughout the production process.

III. Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a cinematographer and video editor, with a strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in both areas.
• Proficiency in using industry-standard editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
• Solid understanding of cinematography principles, lighting techniques, and camera operation.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work under tight deadlines.

IV. Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Film Production, Cinematography, Media Arts, or a related field preferred.

V. Additional Information:

• This position may require occasional travel and work outside of regular business hours, depending on project requirements.
• Salary and benefits will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.
• Portfolio or demo reel may be requested as part of the application process.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,837.85 per month
