We are seeking a skilled and experienced Video Editor to join our dynamic news team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for editing raw footage into polished, compelling video content for television broadcasts and digital platforms. This role requires a keen eye for detail, a strong understanding of visual storytelling, and the ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines. Key Responsibilities Video Editing: Edit and assemble raw footage into polished videos that align with our brand guidelines and objectives. Collaboration: Work closely with journalists, producers, and other team members to understand project requirements and deliver creative video content. Shooting: Capture high-quality video footage during interviews, debates, and other events. Graphics & Effects: Apply video effects, transitions, and graphics to enhance the overall visual appeal. Quality Control: Conduct thorough quality checks to ensure the videos meet technical specifications and are error-free. Digital Platforms: Stay up-to-date with the latest video editing and shooting techniques, tools, and trends for platforms like YouTube, Facebook, and Instagram. Asset Management: Manage and organize the video library to ensure easy access and retrieval of video assets.
