As the Vice President /Head of IT (Manufacturing) for a leading automotive components manufacturer based in Chennai, you will play a crucial role in shaping the company's IT strategy in alignment with business objectives. Your responsibilities will include: - Developing and implementing the company's IT strategy to meet business goals. - Leading digital transformation initiatives by leveraging AI, automation, and advanced analytics, including IIOT. - Overseeing SAP S/4 HANA implementation, optimization, and integration with business processes. - Managing and enhancing IT infrastructure to support scalable and secure operations. - Strengthening cybersecurity frameworks to protect organizational data and mitigate risks. - Ensuring the availability of business continuity planning (BCP) and disaster recovery (DR) mechanisms. - Driving IT governance, compliance, and regulatory requirements. - Leading cross-functional teams, mentoring and developing IT talent. - Engaging with C-level executives and board members, presenting IT roadmaps and strategies. - Balancing Run the Business (RTB) and Change the Business (CTB) priorities effectively to ensure operational excellence while driving strategic transformation. - Staying updated on emerging technologies and industry trends to align IT initiatives with the latest advancements in manufacturing. Qualifications required for this role include: - Minimum 18-23 years of experience in IT leadership roles within the manufacturing sector, preferably in the Automobile/Auto Components industry. - Proven expertise in SAP S/4 HANA, AI-driven solutions, IT infrastructure, and cybersecurity. - Demonstrated experience in balancing RTB and CTB responsibilities with a strong track record in digital transformation and IT-enabled business growth. - Strategic thinking abilities with in-depth knowledge of the latest tech trends shaping the manufacturing industry. - Excellent people management and stakeholder engagement skills. - Ability to collaborate with senior leadership, board members, and external partners. - Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
