Vice President / Head of IT (Manufacturing)

As the Vice President / Head of IT (Manufacturing) for a leading automotive components manufacturer based in Chennai, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing the company's IT strategy aligned with business goals. Your responsibilities will include leading digital transformation initiatives by leveraging AI, automation, and advanced analytics, including IIOT. You will oversee SAP S/4 HANA implementation, optimization, and integration with business processes while managing and enhancing IT infrastructure to support scalable and secure operations. Your role will also involve strengthening cybersecurity frameworks to protect organizational data, ensuring business continuity planning (BCP) and disaster recovery (DR) mechanisms, and driving IT governance, compliance, and regulatory requirements. You will lead cross-functional teams, mentor and develop IT talent, and engage with C-level executives and board members by presenting IT roadmaps and strategies. To excel in this position, you should have a minimum of 18-23 years of experience in IT leadership roles within the manufacturing sector, preferably in the Automobile / Auto Components industry. Proven expertise in SAP S/4 HANA, AI-driven solutions, IT infrastructure, and cybersecurity is essential. Your track record should demonstrate a strong ability to balance Run the Business (RTB) and Change the Business (CTB) priorities effectively, ensuring operational excellence while driving strategic transformation. As a strategic thinker with deep knowledge of the latest tech trends shaping the manufacturing industry, you must possess excellent people management and stakeholder engagement skills. Your role will require you to work closely with senior leadership, board members, and external partners. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities are crucial for success in this position.
