Vice President Financial Crime Fraud Risk Stewardship Center of Excellence

Role Overview: As the Vice President FC Fraud Risk Stewardship CoE at HSBC, you will oversee the broader Fraud staff members within the FC Risk Stewardship CoE. Your main responsibilities will include reviewing and challenging Issues, Actions, Controls, and Events to ensure they meet quality standards and framework requirements. Additionally, you will prepare key oversight data, escalate issues to Senior Management, and provide accurate data and insights for inclusion in relevant papers for key meetings and forums. Key Responsibilities: - Review and challenge Issues, Actions, Controls, and Events to ensure quality standards and framework requirements are met. - Prepare key oversight data and escalate issues to Senior Management. - Provide accurate data and insights for inclusion in relevant papers for key meetings and forums. - Report monthly Fraud loss MI/KPIs/KRIs analysis to highlight trends or concerns. - Review monthly Fraud RAS MI and monitor metrics for effective embedding of relevant framework and risk steward responsibilities. - Support Senior Management on Enterprise-Wide Risk Assessment (EWRA) and Risk and Control Assessments (RCAs). - Analyze Global and Regional Audit and Assurance reports to identify areas requiring action for Fraud. Qualifications Required: - Solid background in Risk Management, preferably in Fraud, Financial Crime, Operational Risk, or Resilience Risk. - Good overall understanding of the wider Risk Management Framework and ability to interpret fraud regulations for compliant policy solutions. - Capability to design and deliver training modules, case studies, and assessments. - Proficiency in using the HSBC Global Non-Financial Risk (NFR) Framework and Technical User Guides (TUG).,
