The Role We’re looking for a friendly, confident and flexible People Advisor to join our team at Via. Help us manage HR Projects and support managers through performance issues, absence, grievances, disciplinary matters, and more. You’ll also play a key role in delivering our People Team business plan, contributing to projects like policy development, organisational change, wellbeing, and Diversity, Equity and Inclusion. You’ll build strong relationships with managers, provide clear and practical HR advice, and help drive continuous improvement across our services. What We’re Looking For A real team player with experience working in an HR/People team, ideally in a service delivery environment. Someone who’s confident advising on ER issues and coaching managers through complex situations. CIPD Level 5 qualified (or working towards it). Strong working knowledge of employment law and HR best practice. Comfortable analysing people data and using it to support decision-making. Organised, calm under pressure, and always ready to get involved. Great communication skills and a collaborative approach. Why Join Us? This is a hands-on role where no two days are the same. You’ll be managing payroll changes, liaising with pension providers, coordinating our Pay Panel, and supporting key people initiatives. You’ll also be the first point of contact for pay and people queries, so being approachable and solutions-focused is key. What We’re Looking For A real team player who’s worked in an HR/People team before and knows how to support colleagues across the organisation. Someone who’s not afraid to get stuck in, take ownership, and make things happen. Strong knowledge of UK payroll legislation and pension schemes.
