VFX Artist & 3D Animator

Caliac Studios is a creative digital agency expanding into animated content for our YouTube channels, including Yoga Guppy and our new kids' channel, Little Guppy Tunes. We are looking for a skilled VFX & 3D Animator to create captivating visual effects and animations that will bring our stories to life. The ideal candidate has a strong portfolio and a passion for creating engaging content for a diverse audience.

Responsibilities

• VFX Creation: Design and create a wide range of visual effects, including particle effects, simulations, and composites, to enhance our videos.
• 3D Animation: Animate characters, objects, and environments, ensuring smooth motion and high-quality rendering.
• Collaboration: Work closely with our creative, production, and editing teams to integrate VFX and animations into our video projects.
• Technical Expertise: Stay up-to-date with the latest software and techniques to maintain a high standard of work.
• Problem-Solving: Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to VFX and 3D animation pipelines.

Qualifications

• Experience: 1-3 years of experience in VFX and 3D animation.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in industry-standard software such as Blender, Maya, Cinema 4D, After Effects, Nuke, Houdini etc etc.
• Soft Skills: Strong artistic and creative skills, a keen eye for detail, and excellent communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Portfolio: A strong portfolio or reel of VFX and 3D animation work.
