Job Description To support Post Disaster Need Assessment study (Study on sector specific impacts due to disasters such as floods, earthquake, landslides, erosion, cyclone, drought etc) to be conducted in the State of Assam Conduct field level data collection, analysis, and assessment. Engage with various stakeholders for discussions. Provide training to stakeholders. Offer technical inputs for project deliverables/components. Conduct field level inspections when necessary. Provide recommendations for recovery and Build Back Better initiatives. Provide inputs for the development of web-based portal and Mobile Application Qualification Criteria PhD/Post-graduate Diploma/ D.Phil. & Postgraduation in Veterinary Science or related fields with 15 years or above experience in Veterinary sector, experience in leading disaster risk assessment having experience in External Aided/multilateral agency projects and regional experience in the Northeast with knowledge of local language is desirable. Should have relevant certifications or relevant training in fields related to disaster management, post disaster needs assessment, veterinary science or related fields
