Veterinary Assistant

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist veterinarians and veterinary technicians during examinations, surgeries, and other medical procedures.
• Provide compassionate care and comfort to pets and their owners, addressing their needs with empathy and professionalism.
• Perform routine tasks such as taking vital signs, administering medications, and collecting samples for lab tests.
• Prepare and maintain examination rooms, ensuring they are clean and well-stocked with necessary supplies.
• Educate pet owners on proper pet care, including diet, hygiene, and medication administration.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of pets by following hospital protocols and infection control procedures.
• Assist with the admission and discharge of patients, including handling and transporting animals with care.
• Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, managing records, and handling billing as needed.
