Vertical Transportation Consultant (VT Consultant)

You are one of the fastest growing Global engineering firms and currently hiring for the role of Senior VT Engineer based out of Bangalore with a flexible/hybrid work arrangement. You will be a part of the Dubai team supporting Middle East/GCC projects. Role Overview: - You should have a strong background in the Lift and Escalator Industry and previous experience in Vertical Transportation Consultancy roles. - Demonstrable experience in Lift Traffic Simulation is required. - A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience is necessary. - You must be familiar with the EN81 suite of codes, have a working knowledge of ASME series of codes, and a detailed understanding of Local (ME) Building Codes. Key Responsibilities: - Utilize lift traffic design software (Elevate), CAD, BIM, Revit, and Microsoft Office suite of programs proficiently. - Produce efficient VT solutions for clients. - Prepare technical reports to illustrate designs to clients and their representatives. - Attend and coordinate meetings with the project design team, VT supplier, and specialist subcontractors. - Coordinate with applicable Local Authority Departments and stakeholders for project approvals. - Collaborate with other Discipline Engineers and participate in design review meetings and client presentations. - Liaise with VT suppliers to ensure adherence to standards and required scope of works by the client. Qualification Required: - Degree in relevant Electrical/Mechanical Engineering discipline. - Extensive experience in designing vertical transportation systems for various building typologies and sectors. - Knowledge of applicable VT Codes Standards and Building Codes. - Ability to manage multiple reviews and deadlines simultaneously. - Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills. - Extensive knowledge of standard engineering practices, techniques, and procedures. - Strong organizational skills, planning, and scheduling abilities. - Technical capability, excellent written and spoken English, collaboration, teamwork, adaptability, and learning skills are essential.
