Vendor Assessment Intern

The responsibilities for this role include conducting vendor research and data collection by identifying potential vendors and gathering key details such as financials, certifications, compliance reports, and references. You will be responsible for pre-qualifying and evaluating vendors based on predefined criteria, preparing profiles, and updating assessment checklists. Additionally, you will manage questionnaires by distributing, tracking, and following up on vendor RFIs/RFPs for necessary clarifications. You will also be involved in risk and compliance assessment, where you will identify risks, verify legal and quality compliance such as ISO and GMP, and contribute to evaluation reports. Data analysis and reporting are essential aspects of this role, where you will analyze vendor data, generate insights, and present findings through reports and visual summaries. Collaboration and coordination are key, as you will work closely with procurement, finance, and legal teams, and assist in vendor site visits/audits. Documentation and record-keeping are also part of the responsibilities, where you will maintain accurate records and ensure systematic data management. The skills required for this role include proficiency in GeM Portal & CRM tools, a strong command of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), knowledge of tender documentation and procurement processes, analytical skills for data interpretation and risk evaluation, and effective communication for vendor coordination and reporting.
