Vehicle Thermal Design Engineer

As an experienced Mechanical or Automobile Engineer with 5 to 6 years of experience, your role will involve a variety of responsibilities related to cooling systems and components in automotive applications. Your key responsibilities will include: - Conducting heat load calculations for power electronic, battery cooling, and HVAC systems. - Designing and developing AC lines, hoses, and clamping brackets in both 2D and 3D formats. - Utilizing CATIA and CREO tools proficiently for 3D/2D modeling. - Demonstrating expertise in cooling components such as radiators, condensers, electric fan assemblies, transmission oil coolers, hose assemblies, electric coolant heaters, valves, and pumps. - Collaborating with suppliers for the design, development, and finalization of the Design Validation Plan (DVP) for cooling system components. - Engaging in the design release process for proprietary and BTP parts according to customer requirements. - Creating packaging concepts for cooling components and conducting packaging studies. - Understanding vehicle/subsystem functional objectives and considering packaging, serviceability, and cost implications. - Participating in technical reviews, technical assessments, and SORs preparation. - Demonstrating knowledge of vehicle-level, system-level, and component-level testing. - Conducting basic and detailed engineering tasks and benchmarking activities. - Proficiency in drawing detailing, GD&T, and knowledge of DFMEA, DFA, DFM, and DFS. Your expertise in Automotive HVAC systems, battery cooling systems, and your ability to understand and work with vehicle/subsystem functional objectives will be crucial in this role. Your experience in testing, engineering, and supplier interactions will contribute to the successful design and development of cooling components in automotive applications.,
