Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and detail-orientedVB.NET Developerto join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of VB.NET and experience building scalable desktop or web applications. You will be responsible for coding, designing, testing, and debugging new software or making enhancements to existing applications.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain applications using VB.NET and .NET Framework
Work with SQL Server or other databases for backend data handling
Analyze user needs and develop software solutions
Write clean, scalable code and participate in code reviews
Collaborate with cross-functional teams for system integration and testing
Perform debugging and unit testing
Document development processes, code changes, and other technical information

Required Skills:

Proficient inVB.NET,.NET Framework (or .NET Core)
Good understanding ofOOP (Object-Oriented Programming)
Experience withWindows FormsorWeb Formsdevelopment
Knowledge ofSQL Server,T-SQL, and stored procedures
Familiarity withCrystal ReportsorReporting Servicesis a plus
Experience withversion control toolslike Git is a plus
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
Experience in migrating legacy VB6 applications to .NET is a plus
Knowledge of ASP.NET, C# is an added advantage
Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
