VAVE_Cost Analysis Engineer to join our team in HYDERABAD Location _work-from-office Role.

Job Title:

Role Summary:

Responsible for executing cost reduction projects on existing products through teardown, idea generation (redesign, material change, modularization, standardization), and implementation without compromising quality.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct VAVE studies to identify cost-out opportunities and perform cost-benefit analysis.
Execute cost reduction initiatives using spend analysis, should-cost, benchmarking, and teardown methods.
Collaborate with sourcing, operations, quality, service, global R&D, and external suppliers.
Provide technical expertise in mechanical engineering, lead design standardization, and optimize best practices.
Manage project planning and execution for mechanical design, development, validation, and compliance with product development processes.
Ensure projects meet cost, quality, and timeline targets; report progress and risks.
Support regulatory approvals (UL, FDA, CSA, CE).

Essential Skills:

Strong problem-solving using FEA, DOE, FMEA; apply DFx principles.
Expertise in sheet metal, machining, plastics, die casting, and related materials/processes.
Proficient in GD&T, tolerance analysis, and 3D CAD tools.
Knowledge of electro-mechanical design and PLM systems.
Excellent communication and global collaboration skills.
Independent project execution with creativity, adaptability, and ownership.
