As a Director of Valuation Services at Weaver in India, you will be a key member of the Valuation Services practice, working closely with U.S. clients and internal teams. Your role will involve providing a range of valuation services tailored to meet client needs, including valuations for corporate tax, financial reporting, equity compensation, real estate, and financial instrument valuations. You will also be involved in valuations for gift and estate tax, management planning, and fairness opinions. Key Responsibilities: - Execute engagement objectives on a day-to-day basis - Supervise small teams of staff members on multiple engagements - Assist in reviewing the work of other valuation specialists for Weaver audit clients - Manage engagement economics and client expectations - Establish relationships, acquire new business, and prepare engagement proposals - Mentor and develop staff Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or Business - Relevant certifications such as ASA, CPA/ABV, CVA, CFA, CEIV, or equivalent - Thorough understanding of valuation modeling, approaches, and methodologies - 8+ years of accounting or consulting experience in a public accounting or consulting firm, industry, or a combination of both - Fluency in English - Expertise in valuation research tools like Capital IQ, Deal Stats, and the Kroll Cost of Capital Navigator Additionally, you will have the opportunity to leverage your expertise in valuation approaches and methodologies, US GAAP and IFRS, as well as ASC 350, ASC 360, ASC 718, ASC 805, and ASC 820. This role may involve travel based on client needs, and you should be able to support the U.S. team during certain U.S. business hours as required.
