Responsibilities:

Understandingof design and installation of telecommunications systems such as Fibre Opticand Copper cabling backbone and distribution, SDH/PDH, MPLS, LAN/WAN and Wi-Finetwork architecture, TETRA/GSM-R/LTE/FRMCS, Security System (CCTV & ACS),Telephony/VoIP systems, Fire Alarm system etc.
Knowledgeon various project phases such as bidding, conceptual, preliminary, anddetailed design, commissioning etc.
Ability tointerpret architectural, electrical, and mechanical layouts related to telecommunications.
Knowledgeof Railways environment and understands various interface needs of Telecom withother systems and stakeholders.
Understandingof European, British, and other Railway standards.
Experiencein AutoCAD / MS Visio. BIM will be an added advantage.
ProfessionalRegistrations such as IEng would be desirable.

Design anddeliver Telecom infrastructure primarily for German market & also forInternational Railway projects.
Supportfor technical & commercial bids.
UnderstandCustomer requirements and prepare architecture and design documents to meetproject technical specifications within stipulated deadlines as per establishedprocesses.

Qualifications:

Master /Bachelor s degree in Electronics & Communication / Telecommunication orequivalent qualification or work experience in a relevant area.
RelevantExperience (years): 3 to 4 Years in Railways / Metro Rail in Telecom SystemDesign or equivalent.
Knowledgeand experience in telecommunications engineering for railways.
Ability /Desire to work successfully with multi-cultural teams across differentcountries with little to no supervision.
Goodverbal and written English communication skills.
Open tolearn German Language.
