Job Description

Job Summary: We are seeking a passionate UI/UX Designer to join our growing EdTech team. In this role, you will play a central part in shaping digital learning experiences that are intuitive, inclusive, and impactful for students, educators, and administrators. You will be responsible for researching user needs, designing engaging user journeys, and ensuring our digital products make learning easier and more effective. Key Responsibilities: Lead UX research initiatives to understand user behaviors, needs, and pain point especially in educational settings. Design learner- and educator-centered user flows , wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups that align with pedagogical goals. Collaborate with product managers, instructional designers, engineers, and education stakeholders to ensure product usability and learning effectiveness. Conduct usability testing with students, teachers, and schools; gather feedback and iterate designs based on real-world use. Advocate for accessibility, equity, and inclusivity in digital learning experiences (WCAG compliance, multilingual/multimodal interfaces). Use data (quantitative and qualitative) to validate design decisions and improve engagement, retention, and learning outcomes. Contribute to and evolve our design system and UI component library. Requirements: 8 to 10 years of experience in a UX/UI Design role, with a portfolio showcasing strong UX thinking and problem-solving. Deep understanding of user-centered design , particularly in the context of digital learning or EdTech platforms. Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Uizard, AL plugins, Adobe Sensei, Canva, Design.ai Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch , Balsamiq or similar. Experience conducting UX research (interviews, surveys, usability tests). Familiarity with accessibility best practices and designing for diverse user groups. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Bachelors degree in Design, HCI, Psychology, Education, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience). Preferred Qualifications: Experience designing educational products (e.g., LMS, learning apps, adaptive learning platforms). Exposure to working with Microsoft Clarity and/or Google Analytics will be an added advantage. Familiarity with learning science principles and pedagogical frameworks. Understanding of HTML/CSS and collaboration with agile development teams. Passion for improving education through thoughtful, impactful design.
