Qualification
As a UX Architect / Lead UX Designer, you will be responsible for defining and delivering intuitive and compelling user experiences for large-scale enterprise applications for Impetus customers and / or products.You will collaborate with clients, fellow data scientists and engineers to deliver great-looking, usable designs for products / web applications having advanced data visualizations for enterprise businesses. You will use user-centered design principles to produce high-quality designs.This position requires one to have a good blend of both interaction design and visual design skills.

Responsibilities
- Working with customers for understanding, capturing and even defining the requirements
- Working with the team to define the architecture, user flows and experiences to solve customer requirements and enhance user experience
- Work closely with a multidisciplinary team of UI architects and engineers, to deliver intuitive and compelling user experiences for large-scale enterprise applications for an extensive client list and / or Impetus products.
- Provide leadership to the design team by leading, mentoring, and supporting the team on complex user research and interaction design projects
- Helping create information design concepts by means of maps, story boards, sketches, and prototyping
- Develop reusable design patterns and components for varied product needs
- While this is not a UI engineering position, you should be comfortable discussing implementation issues with UI architects and engineers

Required
You must
- Be able to work independently with multiple stakeholders including clients, users, and cross-functional teams to understand their expectations, pain points / needs.
- Have very good understanding of user research, information architecture, navigation models, interaction design and visual design principles.
- Be fully functional with the current releases of Figma.
- Have deep knowledge of typography and grid systems.
- Be extremely detail oriented. Strive for pixel perfect implementation on all devices.
- Have passion for elegant and intuitive user interfaces.
- Be self-motivated to prioritize and manage workload and meet critical project deadlines.
- Have a portfolio that exhibits user-friendly, highly functional, responsive web design work.
- Have a strong design ethic and track record of user experience evangelization and innovative user-centered design thinking.
- Have demonstrated ability to 1) work independently and drive towards deadlines, 2) produce high-quality deliverables for clients, and 3) think creatively to solve problems.
- Have excellent communication and presentation skills, and ability to articulate complex design solutions in clear and presentable form.
