Skills & Description:

"A UI/UX Designer using Figma is responsible for creating user-friendly and visually appealing digital products, focusing on both user experience and visual interface design. Candidate to use Figma to create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs, while also conducting user research, testing, and collaborating with developers to ensure a positive and intuitive user experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• User Research and Analysis: Conducting user research to understand user needs, behaviours, and pain points.
• Wireframing and Prototyping: Creating low-fidelity wireframes and interactive prototypes using Figma to visualize design concepts in line with Shell requirements
• Visual Design: Designing the visual elements of a product, including layout, color schemes, typography, and interactive components aligning Shell standards
• User Interface (UI) Design: Focusing on the visual presentation and interactivity of the product, ensuring it is intuitive and aesthetically pleasing.
• User Experience (UX) Design: Focusing on the overall user experience, including usability, accessibility, and satisfaction.
• Design System Implementation: Working with and maintaining design systems, ensuring consistency and scalability across the product.
• Collaboration: Collaborating with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure designs are feasible and aligned with business goals.
• Usability Testing: Conducting usability testing to gather feedback on designs and identify areas for improvement.
• Documentation: Creating and maintaining design documentation, including design specifications and design rationale.

Figma Proficiency:

• Proficiency in Figma: Expertise in using Figma's features, including constraints, components, design tokens, and prototyping tools.
• Creating and Maintaining Design Systems: Experience in creating and maintaining design systems within Figma, ensuring consistency and scalability across the product.
• Collaboration in Figma: Ability to collaborate effectively with other designers and stakeholders using Figma's real-time collaboration features.

Skills and Qualities:

• Problem-solving: Ability to identify and solve design problems, focusing on usability and user satisfaction.
• Communication: Excellent communication skills, including the ability to explain design concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Attention to Detail: Paying meticulous attention to detail in visual design and ensuring a high level of polish.
• Experience with other design tools: While Figma is the primary tool, proficiency in other design tools can be beneficial.
