User Experience Designer (UX/UI)

As a UI/UX Designer at Academian, you will be responsible for ideating new UX concepts and product features, formulating testing scripts, and participating in usability studies. You will utilize qualitative and quantitative data to inform UX decisions and create deliverables such as user flows, wireframes, and interactive prototypes. Your role will involve designing intuitive user interfaces tailored to diverse user groups, following responsive design and accessibility standards, and managing an evolving design system. In addition, you will present and demonstrate UX/UI designs to managers and key stakeholders, ensuring clear communication with developers for implementation. The ideal candidate will have a strong online portfolio showcasing UX/UI design experience, a Bachelor's Degree in user experience or related discipline, and a minimum of 4 years of experience in UI/UX design or a similar role. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a collaborative approach to working with others are essential. Proficiency in Figma, knowledge of accessibility principles in product design, and experience in the EdTech space are preferred qualifications. Familiarity with Agile development, visual design skills, and proficiency in tools such as Jira, Sketch, and Photoshop are advantageous. Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is also beneficial.
