Role Overview: As a US GAAP Audit Professional, you will play a key role in executing audits for clients of US CPA firms. This role provides global exposure and the chance to work closely with talented professionals on complex audits. You will be actively involved in all stages of the audit cycle planning, execution, and reporting while contributing to high-quality deliverables and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, execute, and monitor audit engagements based on client risks, business models, and internal control processes.
• Prepare detailed work papers that document and summarize audit procedures performed.
• Perform analytical procedures on significant accounts by setting expectations, defining variance thresholds, and investigating variances beyond tolerances.
• Conduct tests of details for various components of financial statements.
• Assist in the preparation of draft financial statements, including supporting disclosures and footnotes.
• Serve as a participant or team lead in communications with engagement teams and clients.
• Develop a sound understanding of relevant accounting and auditing literature, ensuring professional judgment in execution.
  

Requirements & Expectations:

• Strong knowledge of accounting and auditing standards (Indian GAAP, IFRS, UK GAAP, US GAAP, or International Auditing Standards).
• Prior experience with a Big 4 or mid-tier accounting firm in external/statutory audits.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint for audit documentation and reporting.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to quickly build effective relationships with colleagues and global teams.
• Positive attitude with a focus on teamwork, collaboration, and professional integrity.
