US Corporate Tax - SALT - Senior Associate

As part of the tax services team at PwC, your primary focus will be providing advice and guidance to clients on tax planning, compliance, and strategy. You will play a crucial role in assisting businesses to comply with tax laws, minimize risks of non-compliance, and optimize their tax positions. Specifically, your responsibilities will include reviewing financial data, preparing and filing tax returns, and ensuring clients meet their tax obligations. Your key responsibilities will include: - Preparation and review of state tax returns and compliance - Senior review of separate and combined state returns and familiarity with state tax compliance principles - Review and preparation of Amended returns based on a RAR audit or 1120X - Maintaining a general concept of state tax return compliance process, including workpapers - Self-review of deliverables before submission to the Assistant Manager - Proficiency in using Tax research tools such as CCH, IRA Checkpoint, Bloomberg, etc. - Tracking daily assignments, providing status updates on ongoing deliverables, and coordinating with team members to meet deadlines - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to train, monitor, and guide associates Qualifications required for this role: - 3+ years of experience in Consulting and Compliance Services - Full-time Bachelor's degree (B.Com), M.Com, or Masters in Business Administration (MBA) in Finance or Equivalent from a reputed University - Proficiency in Tax Applications like ONE SOURCE, Corptax, CCH, and/or Go-System is preferable - Experience working in a team environment and possessing excellent communication skills (Note: Additional Company Details were not provided in the job description.),
