US Accounting- Financials

As a Financial Analyst at our company, your role will involve preparing and analyzing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. This will include tasks such as maintaining general ledger accounts, performing account reconciliations, and ensuring compliance with US GAAP, internal policies, and external reporting requirements. Additionally, you will be responsible for assisting in month-end and year-end close processes by preparing journal entries, accruals, and intercompany transactions. Key Responsibilities: - Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements - Maintain general ledger accounts and perform account reconciliations - Ensure compliance with US GAAP, internal policies, and external reporting requirements - Assist in month-end and year-end close processes by preparing journal entries, accruals, and intercompany transactions - Support internal and external audits by providing documentation and explanations - Monitor and improve accounting procedures and systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy - Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local financial legal requirements Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field - CPA certification preferred - 2+ years of experience in financial analysis and reporting - Strong knowledge of US GAAP and financial regulations - Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills - Strong attention to detail and accuracy Please note the shift timing for this role is from 5:30 PM to 2:30 AM.
