Urgent Opening For the post of Senior Architect

Senior Architect Requirements:

• Previous experience as an Architect preferred above 7 years experience from Real estate Industry
• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Architecture from an accredited institution
• Excellent leadership and communication skills. Brilliant interpersonal and networking skills.
• Detail-oriented and analytical in approach.
• Understanding and knowledge of DCPR 2034, Feasibility Reports, building codes, zoning regulations, building construction, building systems, services, finishing and site requirements
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office suite is required.
• Deadline-driven and dedicated to excellence.

Senior Architect Job Responsibilities:

• Applying knowledge of architectural design, construction detailing, construction procedures, zoning, building codes, building materials and systems.
• Produces conceptual plans, renderings, and documents.
• To study drawings released by Architects and give consolidated feedback/comments regarding approvability from liaison perspective for projects & to offer suggestions and resolutions, to make project viable/approvable in a timely manner. If required, to present the plans for liaison purpose with the Authorities.
• Ensuring all plans are compliant with DC regulations as well as any other State or Central government norms.
• Produces construction documents in AutoCAD
• Working with the H.O.D. / Project Manager, may direct, supervise, and check activities of workers engaged in preparing drawings and specification documents for the Conceptual Design Phase, Schematic Design Phase, and/or the Detailed Design Phase of a project.
• Interfaces with Management and project managers
• Assists in research and coordination of materials and products for project specifications.
• Providing guidance to contractors like civil contactor, plumbers, and electricians, and helping them interpret design specifications.
• Ensuring the team works together to achieve set goals and targets.
• Acting as a mentor to new Architects and helping them fine-tune their design skills and improve their industry knowledge.
• Networking and consulting with various industry professionals.
• Generate Value engineering & Value addition inputs to improve on the project feasibility.
• Mapping information & knowledge within the set Document Management System.
• Assist in standardizing various design aspects of the projects.
• Ensuring compliance with management’s vision for the project and with the quality standards of the company.
