Urgent Opening For Microbiologist in Food Manufacturing Company

Job Purpose:

To ensure the microbiological quality and safety of raw materials, in-process products, finished goods, and the production environment by conducting routine testing, implementing hygienic practices, and supporting compliance with food safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform microbiological testing of raw materials, in-process samples, finished products, and water/air/environmental samples.
• Monitor and maintain aseptic conditions in laboratories and production areas.
• Maintain and operate laboratory equipment such as incubators, autoclaves, and colony counters.
• Develop and implement microbiological testing protocols aligned with FSSAI, ISO, HACCP, and other regulatory standards.
• Record, analyze, and report test results accurately and in a timely manner.
• Assist in root cause analysis of microbiological non-conformances and recommend corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Participate in internal and external audits; ensure documentation is complete and up to date.
• Train production staff on hygiene, GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), and microbiological safety.

Key Skills & Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of microbiology, foodborne pathogens, and spoilage organisms.
• Familiarity with HACCP and food safety regulations.

Laboratory skills: aseptic techniques, media handling

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Microbiology
• Experience minimum 1 year in food industry laboratories preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
