Job Description: We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Design Manager with a strong background in the e-learning domain to lead our creative and instructional design efforts. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in design standards, storyline development, and a deep understanding of various Learning Management Systems (LMS). As a Design Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the user experience and instructional quality of our e-learning products. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage the design team to develop engaging and effective e-learning experiences. Collaborate with instructional designers, subject matter experts, and stakeholders to create innovative learning content. Oversee the design and development of learning materials, ensuring they align with best practices in user experience (UX) and instructional design. Ensure adherence to industry design standards, accessibility guidelines, and usability principles. Drive the storyline development process, from concept creation to interactive design and final production. • Provide guidance on the use of LMS platforms, ensuring seamless integration of e-learning content with various systems. Stay up to date with emerging technologies, tools, and trends in the e-learning industry to enhance design capabilities. Manage multiple projects and ensure timely delivery, within scope and budget. Foster a collaborative and creative environment within the design team, encouraging innovation and professional development. Required Skills & Qualifications: 8-10 years of experience in design, with a significant focus on the e-learning industry. Expertise in storyline development, creating interactive and engaging learning content. Proven knowledge of various Learning Management Systems (LMS) such as Moodle, Blackboard, Canvas, etc. Strong understanding of design standards, accessibility guidelines, and instructional design principles. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally. Experience in managing design projects from ideation to execution, ensuring high-quality outputs. Proficiency in e-learning development tools such as Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, or similar. Knowledge of UX/UI design principles and best practices for digital learning environments. Strong leadership abilities with experience managing and mentoring a team of designers. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in both synchronous and asynchronous e-learning design. Familiarity with gamification, microlearning, and other modern instructional approaches. Understanding of SCORM, xAPI, or other e-learning standards and technologies. A passion for education and a commitment to delivering high-quality learning experiences.
