Unity Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Unity Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in developing and deploying high-performance, web-based 3D interactive applications. This role requires a strong understanding of the Unity engine, C# scripting, and the unique challenges and opportunities of the WebGL platform. You will be responsible for building engaging, immersive experiences that are accessible to users directly through their web browsers.

Responsibilities

* Design, develop, and maintain cross-platform interactive 3D applications using the Unity engine and C#.

* Specialize in targeting the WebGL platform, optimizing for performance, load times, and compatibility across various browsers and devices.

* Collaborate with 3D artists, designers, and project managers to translate creative concepts into functional, interactive experiences.

* Implement and manage user interfaces, 3D models, animations, and real-time physics.

* Debug, troubleshoot, and optimize existing applications to improve performance and stability.

* Integrate with various backend services and APIs to support dynamic content and user data.

* Stay up-to-date with the latest Unity features, WebGL technologies, and industry best practices.

* Write clean, well-documented, and scalable code.

Required Qualifications

* Proven experience with multiple published, commercial-grade interactive 3D applications deployed via WebGL.

* Expertise in the Unity engine and C# scripting.

* Deep understanding of performance optimization techniques for Unity and WebGL, including asset compression, draw call reduction, and memory management.

* Strong knowledge of 3D graphics principles, rendering pipelines, and shaders.

* Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git.

* Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

* A strong portfolio demonstrating a history of successful web-based projects.

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience with other programming languages and web technologies (e.g., JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS).

* Knowledge of backend development or cloud services (e.g., Firebase, AWS, Azure).

* Familiarity with VR/AR development for web platforms (e.g., WebXR).

* Experience with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Game Development, or a related field.
