Umbraco CMS Support Engineer

Role Overview

Umbraco CMS

Should be well versed with configurations, customizations and testing of Umbraco CMS with integrations to eCommerce (SFCC B2B preferred) and DAM(Tenovos preferred) applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive calls from helpdesk/L1 team & resolve incidents pertaining to CMS and Tenovos (PDP/PLP inaccuracies of image/descriptions, make any configuration changes, push content into multiple environments etc.,)
• Perform trouble shooting of issues & resolve, based on SOP & known issue database. When required perform in-depth analysis for complex issues
• Transfer issues that require major code changes or major configuration changes to Continuous Improvement team, after providing a work around/temporary solution to end user
• Participate in triage calls for resolution of issues requiring multiple teams
• Update status of incident, problem ticket in ITSM / relevant tool/ relevant tool/ServiceNow/JIRA
• Update/create SOP/support documentation
• User interaction & triaging:
• Engage with users to gather inputs on issue bring faced and coordinating with relevant teams to find a complete solution for the issue.
• Document and communicate effectively across teams involved with the support of CMS applications like Umbraco and DAM like Tenovos
• Initiate and participate in triage calls, work with other teams(SFCC, Salsify PIM, SAP ERP), designers, project managers, and content creators, to resolve related issues
• Support customizations and configurations:
• Support maintenance of Umbraco CMS and Tenovos customizations and out of the box features along with content, asset flow into eCommerce application.
• Troubleshooting of templates, modules, workflows, themes and plugins to add specific functionality, especially for storefront or multiple stores for marketplace websites
• Work on configuration changes needed for resolving any issues pertaining to digital images, content delivery
• Integrations: Support and troubleshoot Umbraco-Tenovos APIs/services with third-party APIs apart from data exchange services with enterprise middleware like Azure Integration Services
• Performance and security: Ensure high website performance, availability and implement security measures to protect the site. Collaborate with UI/UX teams to ensure responsive storefront
• Maintenance and upgrades: Manage and support technical tasks like upgrades, deployments, and troubleshooting related issues.
• Optimization: Look for SEO best practices to improve search engine ranking and optimize for all browsers.
• Working experience in B2B eCommerce and Consumer Goods/CPG ecosystem of products (SAP ERP, Distribution/WMS applications, Salesforce cloud platforms etc.,)

Skills and Experience

• Working experience in supporting Umbraco CMS and Tenovos DAM
• Working knowledge of C#, .NET Framework, and ASP.NET MVC.
• Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and responsive design.
• Working knowledge in SQL Server, Entity Framework, and database design.
• Familiarity with ServiceNow, JIRA, Confluence, Git and version control systems.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and cloud platforms (Azure/AWS).
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Task automation: Experience in automating content delivery/deployment and toil reduction is needed. Knowledge of AI tools for same is a plus.
• Working experience in Agile Scrum/Kanban Model of SDLC.
